From July 12 to 13, the 2025 National Youth U-Series BMX Freestyle Championship successfully concluded at the Chongli Extreme Sports Park in Zhangjiakou. The two-day event drew nearly 100 young riders aged 5 to 14 to the Winter Olympic city, where they pursued their dreams on two wheels and showcased their youthful energy.

The event was hosted by the China Cycling Association and the Hebei Provincial Sports Bureau, and organized by the Cycling Sports Center of Hebei Province, Hebei Cycling Association, Zhangjiakou Sports Bureau, and the People’s Government of Chongli District. It was co-organized by the Chongli District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports, and Beijing Qiansen Sports & Culture Investment and Development Co., Ltd.
On the competition grounds, the young riders fearlessly embraced challenges, performing imaginative jumps, smooth and powerful spins, and precise landings — a perfect fusion of speed and skill. They were not only competing in terms of difficulty but also refining their style, height, and fluidity. Every successful trick was met with enthusiastic cheers from the audience. After fierce competition, the rankings for each group were determined.
The successful hosting of this National Youth U-Series BMX Freestyle Championship marks an important initiative by the Hebei Provincial Cycling Sports Center to promote the development of BMX in China. The event not only gave a significant boost to the local summer sports economy and cultural tourism consumption, but also injected new momentum into the coordinated development of the sports industry in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. More importantly, it planted the seeds of a love for sports and the courage to take on challenges in the hearts of young participants, laying a solid foundation for the sustainable development of BMX in China.
