On June 14, Beijing time, the final day of competition concluded at the 2025 ISSF Rifle and Pistol World Cup in Munich, Germany. The Chinese duo Yao Qianxun and Hu Kai claimed the gold medal in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event, bringing China's total gold medal count to four. With 4 golds, 1 silver, and 2 bronzes—a total of 7 medals—Team China topped the medal table.

In the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event, China fielded two teams: Team China 1 (Yao Qianxun/Hu Kai) and Team China 2 (Qian Wei/Zhang Yifan). Yao and Hu performed strongly in the qualification round, finishing first and advancing to the gold medal match alongside the second-ranked Armenian team. Previously, Yao had secured a bronze in the women’s 10m air pistol, while Hu won the men’s 10m air pistol title. Their partnership put significant pressure on their opponents.
In the first round of shooting, Yao and Hu scored impressive rings of 10.7 and 10.5, respectively, while their Armenian counterparts managed only 9.7 and 8.1. China took the lead with a score of 21.2 to 17.8, earning 2 points. In the next three rounds, China secured another 6 points, pushing the score to 8–0 and forcing Armenia to call a timeout. After the break, the Armenian team won two consecutive rounds, narrowing the score to 4–8. However, China gave them no further chances, winning 8 straight points to claim victory with a decisive 16–4 and take home the gold.
Also held that day was the final of the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team event. Team China 1, composed of Wang Zifei and Sheng Lihao, reached the gold medal match but lost 7–17 to India’s top team, earning the silver medal.
