On the final day of the 2025 National Athletics Championships held at the Quzhou Sports Center in Zhejiang, Fujian athlete Lin Yuwei claimed the bronze medal in the women’s 100m hurdles with a time of 13.29 seconds.

On the evening of August 4th, the women’s 100m hurdles final took place in the rain. Wu Yanni clinched the gold with 13.15 seconds, while Lin Yuwei, despite falling at the finish line and injuring her shoulder—resulting in bleeding—finished in 13.29 seconds, securing third place. Chen Yinfeng narrowly edged out Lin Yuwei by thousandths of a second to take the silver medal.
The National Athletics Championships is the largest and highest-level track and field competition in China. This year's event also served as one of the most important competitive practice opportunities for elite athletes ahead of the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo and the 15th National Games.

A total of 34 teams from across the country participated. Popular athletes such as Wu Yanni, Lin Yuwei, Liu Jingyang, and Xia Sining made the women’s 100m hurdles one of the most anticipated events of the competition.
In the preliminary rounds held on August 3rd:
Lin Yuwei placed second in her heat with 13.35 seconds (Heat 2)
Xia Sining came second in her heat with 13.40 seconds (Heat 1)
Wu Yanni dominated her heat with 13.00 seconds (Heat 3)
All three successfully qualified for the final.
