The 2025 Asian Cup Shotgun Championship is in full swing in Linfen, Shanxi. On June 5, the senior men's and women's skeet events were held. Chinese athlete Jiang Yiting clinched the gold medal in the senior women’s skeet individual event, and together with teammates Li Wenyi and Huang Jingyi, secured the gold in the women’s skeet team event.

In addition, in the youth mixed team skeet event, the Chinese duo Jin Shengwu and Zhang Mingye claimed the championship. Along with the three gold medals previously won, China has now swept all four gold medals in the youth skeet events.

Team China 1, composed of Jin Shengwu and Zhang Mingye, ranked first in the qualification round of the mixed team skeet event with 140 hits, advancing to the gold medal match along with Team Korea 1. In the final, they defeated the Korean team with a score of 38 to 35 to win the gold medal. Team China 2, formed by Wang Yitao and Bi Aoyu, took the bronze medal.

In earlier competitions, Chinese athletes Jin Shengwu and Gong Xiaolei won the gold medals in the youth men's and women's skeet individual events, respectively. The youth women’s team score was determined by the combined results of three athletes in the qualification round. Bi Aoyu, Zhang Mingye, and Gong Xiaolei ranked in the top three, earning the team gold. Due to the limited number of participating teams in the youth men’s team skeet event, no team ranking was held for that category.
