The second qualifier of the 15th National Games skateboarding event recently concluded at the Skateboarding Park of Guangzhou University Town Sports Center in Guangdong Province. The competition attracted 123 athletes from 19 teams across the country, with champions crowned in each category.
The event featured four disciplines: Women's Street, Men's Street, Women's Park, and Men's Park. In the Street finals, athletes delivered a visual feast with dazzling performances on a street-style course equipped with stairs, rails, and ramps. Ultimately, Wang Tenghe from Team Beijing and Cui Chenxi from Team Shandong claimed the titles in the men’s and women’s street events, respectively.

In the Park finals, athletes pushed their limits with a series of high-difficulty tricks. Wang Xiaoze from Team Shanghai and Han Xiuqiancheng from Team Shanxi emerged victorious in the men’s and women’s park events.
By promoting development through competition and activating youth energy, skateboarding—now an official event in both the Olympics and the National Games—continues to grow in athletic performance and societal influence. This event not only served as a platform for selecting top talent for the National Games but also acted as an important window for promoting skateboarding culture and inspiring youth participation.

The event was co-hosted by the Social Sports Guidance Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, the China Roller Sports Association, and the Guangzhou Sports Bureau, and organized by the Guangdong Social Sports and Training Competition Center and the Guangzhou University Town Sports Center.
